EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Reporting to the Board of Directors of the City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Family Health Team, the Executive Director provides overall administrative leadership to the organization.

Success in this role calls for the ability to work with the Board of Directors to identify strategic opportunities and ensure accountability, financial, operational, human resources, and administrative efficiency and performance excellence throughout the organization.

The Executive Director leads and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary health provider team members to deliver the highest-quality, seamless primary care.  The Executive Director also collaborates with community partners to meet the needs of patients.

The successful candidate will be an adaptive, self-directed leader who inspires and motivates others, empowering people with a clear commitment to inclusivity and excellence.  

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in health administration (or related discipline) from a recognized university; or a combination of an undergraduate degree with significant management experience, preferably within the not-for-profit and/or primary health care sector (a previous background in healthcare would be considered an asset)
  • minimum 5 years progressive management experience in medical administration, community health or a social service setting (within a rural setting would be an asset)
  • superior knowledge, leadership, experience and communication skills
  • proven proficiency with office-based information technology

Salary range: is $91,529 - $107,077+ benefits and RRSP contribution
