Looking for a family doctor or nurse practitioner? All of our providers take new patients through Health Care Connect. Register there first to be matched with someone from the City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team.

Health Care Connect

Health Care Connect is a Government of Ontario program that helps people without a family doctor or nurse practitioner find one in their community. You no longer need to “de-roster” from a provider outside the area (such as a doctor in another community) before registering.

When you register, a nurse called a Care Connector will help match you with a family doctor or nurse practitioner in the City of Kawartha Lakes as spots become available.

Our physicians and nurse practitioners accept new patients through Health Care Connect, so registering is the first step to joining our Family Health Team.
